The Australian Organisation for Quality (AOQ) is the country's longest serving professional organisation providing membership services to the quality industry. Formed as a not-for-profit organization in 1968, it is a national body with offices in every capital city, and has 17 regional groups throughout the country providing training and education for members, in industry and government.

AOQ provides members and clients with information on trends and issues through regular network meetings and its national magazine "Quality Australia" and business improvement magazines issued by its various state bodies, which examines and reports on key issues concerning quality, safety and environment in Australia and abroad. Its biennial conference "QUALCON" assembles renowned speakers from around the world, as well as Australia to share their experiences and observations on developments within the global quality movement.

Training and Development Programs are available through the AOQ. We offer cost effective educational services to our members focused on the future needs of organisations. We believe that it is important for our customers to develop competitive edge by learning and sharing information. The future of our businesses is highly dependent on our ability to adapt to the future and to continue to learn and develop our individual skills.

Each month the AOQ hosts forums which focus on current issues and changes in the industry. Members and non-members are invited to attend for a nominal fee.
