Education & Training Cancellation Policy
The Education and Training Cancellation Policy sets out the Australian Organisation for Quality (NSW) Inc. (AOQ (NSW) Inc.) guiding principles in respect to cancellation by either the client or by AOQ (NSW) Inc.
Policy for Client Cancellations
All cancellations where a refund of fees is expected must be confirmed in writing before the refund will be paid. However, transfer requests to the next available course received in writing will be processed without charge.
Short Courses
One day and two days duration training course cancellations:· received more than five (5) clear working days before course commencement receive a full refund of fees paid,· received more than two (2) and less than five (5) clear working days prior to course commencement receive a 50% refund, and · received with two (2) working days or less notice, or where a course is not attended, forfeit the full course fee.
Long Courses
The five-day Quality Assurance Auditing Training (Lead Auditor) cancellations:· received more than ten (10) clear working days before course commencement receive a full refund of fees paid,· received more than five (5) and less than ten (10) clear working days prior to course commencement receive a 50% refund, and · received with five (5) working days or less notice, or where a course is not attended, forfeit the full course fee.
Client Specific (In-House)
Client Specific (In-House) training courses cancellations received more than four (4) clear weeks before course commencement receive a full refund of fees paid. Cancellations between four (4) clear weeks and two (2) clear weeks receive a 50% refund less $200 administration fee and cancellations received with two (2) weeks or less notice forfeit the full fee.
Education Courses
Education program cancellations require a minimum of four (4) weeks notice prior to course commencement to receive a full refund of fees. Cancellations with less than the four (4) weeks notice receive a refund of fees less a $300 administrative charge. Withdrawal from an education program once it has commenced will attract a charge which equates to the pro-rata fees for the remainder of the module in progress at the time of withdrawal, or $500, whichever is the greater.
Where the nominated student is unable to attend the course another person may be substituted at no additional cost. Substitutions are not permitted after the course has commenced.
